SpocDesk 2.0 is our biggest release so far. We rebuilt the parts of the app that matter most for everyday remote work — connection speed, image quality and multi-monitor support — and made the whole experience feel closer to sitting in front of the machine itself.
Connections that start in seconds
The first thing you notice in 2.0 is how quickly a session begins. We reworked how devices discover and authenticate each other so that, in most cases, you go from entering an address to a live screen in just a couple of seconds. Behind the scenes, the handshake now negotiates the best available path between the two machines before the first frame is ever sent.

Smoother video, even on weak connections
Remote control is only useful when it feels responsive. SpocDesk 2.0 introduces an adaptive video pipeline that continuously measures the quality of the connection and adjusts frame rate and compression on the fly. On a fast office link you get crisp, high-frame-rate video; on a patchy mobile hotspot the session stays usable instead of freezing.
The short version: typical session latency is now under 50ms on a stable connection, with graceful fallback when the network gets noisy.
Multi-monitor, done properly
Plenty of people work across two or three displays, and remote tools often handle that badly. In 2.0 you can see every remote monitor at once, switch between them instantly, or focus on a single screen for maximum clarity. Resolutions up to 4K are supported, so detailed work like design review or spreadsheet auditing stays sharp.
